November 17Barksgiving

Terrestrial Brewing Co. >7524 Father Frascatii @4pm

Get yourself a stuffed dog on the 17th! Not, like, a stuffed dog as in a stuffed animal toy, but a STUFFED dog with a full belly at Barksgiving at Terrestrial Brewing Co. Enjoy your own catering while your pup gets a lavish 3-course meal prepared by a Girl’s Best Friend Bakery. You’re not the only one who wants to celebrate this Thanksgiving!

November 19 – Pints for Pets

Forest City Brewery >2135 Columbus Rd @6pm

Your dog may not be able to speak but they’re always trying to communicate. Sip locally brewed beer and listen to a thrilling presentation on communicating with your pet. Presented by Tabitha Kucera, you’ll learn all about the subtle (and not so subtle) ways your pet is trying to be heard by you and how you can listen and react. There will be a Q&A to follow so you can ask your own burning personal questions about your pet and what they’re trying to say.

November 19Raise The Woof!

Big Boy >7800 Granger Rd @5pm

At the Big Boy restaurant on Granger, bring in the special flyer and Big Boy will donate 20% of your food purchases to Guiding Eyes for The Blind. Meet the raisers (and of course the puppies in training to be seeing eye dogs!!) and learn all about their cause, methods, and how they train their puppies to be seeing-eye dogs. On top of that, there will be a 50/50 raffle, basket raffles, and pet-themed ornaments as well! Also, for that whole day, I will be referring to the restaurant as Good Boy instead.

November 21VIP Petcare Clinic

Three Dog Bakery >2929 Detroit Ave @4pm

Three Dog Bakery is once again proud to partner with VIP Petcare to host another clinic offering vet wellness services for dogs and cats. Nail trims, vaccination, microchipping, testing, flea & tick control and more! No appointment needed. This is some pretty heavy hands-on work so go give them some appreciation and make sure your pet is at their best!

November 21City Dogs

Flying Monkey Pub >819 Jefferson Ave @6pm

Come adopt your very own Flying Monkey at City Dogs… wait… I maybe got that flipped. Either way: puppy or monkey, come to this great adoption event to meet the most adorable adoptable pups looking for their forever home at the Flying Monkey Pub! Let’s be real, it wouldn’t be the worst thing you’ve taken home from the pub!
