Eastlake, OHSmartland owns and operates more than 1,400 rental units across Northeast Ohio. We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our homes and apartments in top condition while ensuring every resident feels comfortable, safe, and truly at home.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues.
- Turn vacant units quickly and to company standards.
- Handle urgent maintenance requests and participate in on-call rotations.
- Record work orders, photos, and parts used in our mobile app.
- Maintain property exteriors including grounds, landscaping, gutters, siding, and other outdoor areas to ensure curb appeal and safety.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience.
- Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Exterior maintenance experience (groundskeeping, concrete, roofing, siding, etc.) is a huge plus.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and your own tools.
- Physically able to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
