Job Duties
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

- Utilize quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated
- Identify opportunities for, and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure work environments are adequate and safe and operating effectively in accordance with our guidelines and state and local regulations
- Oversee the quality of our operations, which includes residence quality, safety and well-being, mechanical room maintenance, cleaning regiments, and routine maintenance
- Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor, and forecast budgets and cost of sales/labor in each department
- Communicate and explain new directives, policies, and procedures to all employees; for major changes, meet with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale
- Improve customer service and satisfaction through direct customer interaction and follow-up to ensure we continuously deliver the “Hilton Experience” to our residence
- Lead coordination and integration of efforts among operations, technology, and customer service to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Administration, and Ownership in a seamless manner to ensure we maximize efficiencies, sales, and profits
- Project a positive image of Smartland to associates, customers, industry, and community by always promoting value and culture
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role
- Mechanically inclined with all-around knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical and HVAC
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline projects and coordinate a team’s corresponding efforts
- Administrative skills, including experience with budgeting, spreadsheets, and payroll
