What You’ll Do Day to Day
- Answer and route incoming calls to the maintenance department
- Troubleshoot maintenance requests and assign work orders as needed
- Input and manage service requests in the property management software system
- Create, implement, and maintain checklists for maintenance processes
- Review and approve contractor invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate regularly with residents and contractors to provide updates and resolve issues
- Support the Director of Maintenance with scheduling, documentation, and project coordination
What You Bring
- Positive, professional attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- General knowledge of systems, programs, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Real estate or property management experience a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with maintenance or property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
- Familiarity with scheduling vendors and managing service contracts
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Interest in growing into a leadership or operations management role
