Collections Specialist

Full Time

Job Duties

  • Contact tenants by phone, email and text to collect on past due accounts
  • Work with tenants to investigate billing issues and/or disputes
  • Answer tenant questions regarding their account, lease, statement, etc.
  • Maintain notes in the tenant’s account via AppFolio
  • Answer calls and emails
  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Monthly incentive pay for meeting goals


  • A positive attitude
  • High school degree or equivalent, college degree is a plus
  • 3-5 years of office experience in customer service and/or administrative support
  • General knowledge of systems, (AppFolio knowledge is a plus), Google Drive, MS Office
  • Skilled verbal and written communication, customer service and time management
  • Team player; works well with all levels of organization and external contacts
  • Ability to produce error-free work and to adapt quickly to new work assignments/situations
  • Possess critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Real estate knowledge a plus
