(Active Ohio Real Estate License Required)
Smartland manages 1,400+ apartments and single-family homes across the Cleveland area, and we’re hiring a Community Leasing Specialist to be the face of our communities and deliver an excellent prospect and resident experience.
In this role, you’ll manage leasing for 300+ assigned units, working closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance Team to drive occupancy, renewals, and resident satisfaction.
Schedule
- Flexible, self-managed schedule
- You set your hours, with availability for showings and follow-ups
- Occasional evenings and weekends required to meet prospect demand
Ohio License Requirement (Required)
- Active Ohio Real Estate Salesperson or Broker License in good standing
What You’ll Do
- Respond to leasing leads quickly and professionally
- Schedule and conduct property tours; convert prospects to leases
- Process applications and coordinate lease signings, move-ins, and move-outs
- Manage renewals, notices, inspections, and accurate digital records
- Track and meet leasing KPIs (response time, follow-up, conversion rate)
- Use CRM, email, and text tools; collaborate with onsite teams
What You Bring
- Active Ohio real estate license (required)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
- Sales-driven mindset and comfort in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Preferred: Leasing or property management experience
