Vadim Kleyner is the founder and CEO of Smartland, a private equity platform operating across energy infrastructure and real assets. He leads Smartland Energy LLC, an independent power producer (IPP) developing, owning, and operating behind-the-meter dispatchable generation facilities in Ohio. A tech entrepreneur by background, Vadim applies systems thinking and data-driven discipline to large-scale infrastructure development – from financial modeling and capital formation to regulatory strategy and long-term asset operations. His current focus is scaling Smartland Energy’s Ohio pipeline beyond 1800MW, with projects designed around a single principle: power generation must equal demand.
